About Jason Trott

Calm, methodical Tec & rebreather training on Malta’s wrecks.

Jason made his first dives in Egypt in 2007, aged 12, and was hooked immediately. Back in the UK he pushed through to junior master scuba diver as fast as age limits allowed, hitting Tec40 and Divemaster by 18 and later Tec50. The drive towards deeper, longer dives – including ambitions like HMS Britannic at 120 m – naturally led him onto rebreathers.

In 2020 Jason moved onto the Hollis Prism2, aged 25 (seen in the photo), later qualifying as a PADI Tec instructor and PADI rebreather instructor. He currently teaches PADI Tec50 and PADI CCR40 on the Prism2, with CCR60 instructor training in progress. His teaching style is calm, methodical and safety oriented, with a heavy focus on realistic bailout planning, generous safety margins and effective team behaviour.
