Description
Hollis Prism 2 Closed Circuit Rebreather
Silent, efficient and built for serious technical diving – the Hollis Prism 2 is a fully featured eCCR designed for demanding wreck, cave and deep trimix dives.
The Hollis Prism 2 is a modern electronically controlled closed-circuit rebreather (eCCR) aimed at experienced divers who want longer bottom times, warm breathing gas and precise control of PO₂. With a proven track record in wreck, cave and exploration diving, the Prism 2 combines robust engineering with a clean, modular design that can be configured for both recreational and advanced technical profiles.
Whether you’re progressing through PADI Rebreather / Advanced Rebreather or heading towards Tec 40/60/100 CCR, the Prism 2 offers a stable platform for training and serious project diving.
Key features
Electronically controlled CCR (eCCR) with manual override for precise PO₂ management
Radial scrubber design for efficient CO₂ absorption and longer scrubber durations
Integrated ADV (automatic diluent valve) for automatic loop gas addition
Dual independent oxygen sensors with handset monitoring (plus HUD, depending on configuration)
Modular frame and harness system – configurable for backmount bailout and different cylinder sizes
Streamlined hose routing to keep the chest area clear and reduce entanglement risk
Robust construction suitable for wreck, cave and cold-water diving environments
Who the Hollis Prism 2 is for
Technical divers moving from open circuit to CCR for longer bottom times and reduced gas costs
Existing rebreather divers looking for a well-supported, widely used eCCR platform
Wreck and cave divers who value redundancy, reliability and clean hose routing
Divers planning to progress through PADI Tec / CCR training on a single, consistent unit
Benefits of diving the Prism 2
Extended bottom time: dramatically improved gas efficiency compared to open circuit, especially on deeper and longer dives.
Warm, moist breathing gas: reduced work of breathing and improved comfort on long runtimes.
Optimised decompression: constant PO₂ control helps streamline decompression profiles under appropriate training and planning.
Quieter, bubble-reduced operation: ideal for wildlife encounters, photography and wreck or cave environments where noise and bubbles are a disadvantage.
Training & support
The Hollis Prism 2 should only be used by divers who have completed unit-specific rebreather training with a recognised agency. Introductory and advanced courses (e.g. PADI Rebreather Diver, Advanced Rebreather Diver, Tec 40/60/100 CCR on the Prism 2) are available separately.
If you need advice on whether the Prism 2 is the right unit for your diving and training goals, please contact us before purchasing.
